Vimedix Ob/Gyn Ultrasonography Simulator is one of the base modules for obstetrical and gynecological (OB/GYN) physicians and sonographers. Learners can master their skills such as obstetric ultrasonography, including fetal ultrasound imaging, gestational age assessment and evaluation of the maternal adnexa through advanced practice. Some of the key features include normal fetus (8-week, 12-week and 20-week) and pathological cases. Learners can also assess the gestational age of the fetus, various fetal positions and nuchal translucency scans.
Vimedix Cardiac Ultrasonography Simulator is one of the base modules with the flexibility to expand with additional modules as per requirement. The transesophageal echocardiography module (TEE) and Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma Module (FAST) can be bought. It comes with a realistic torso with tactile features augmenting the learning experience; apart from several hardware add-ons. It has a normal case and several pathologies to work on.
Vimedix Abdo Ultrasonography Simulator comes as an add-on to the above system. Learners can identify free fluid using 3D augmented reality depiction of comprehensive anatomy. They can practice with probe for understanding the relationship between the transducer beam and ultrasound image to identify abnormalities. It has self-directed instructional contents enabling learners can learn individually or in groups under the guidance of the instructors. Thereafter, they can compare their performace to that of clinical experts using certain metrics and tools. It is packaged with more than 60 pathologies, based on real patient cases.
